A born-and-raised Angeleno, lifelong learner, and avid traveler, Nicole Christopher brings a rare blend of structure and spirit to everything she does. Raised by parents with nearly four decades of service in education and at the IRS, she developed an early drive to chart her own path. That curiosity led her through an unconventional academic journey, culminating in a Master’s in Religious Studies from Mount St. Mary’s and an MBA from the University of Redlands.

After serving as an IRS Revenue Officer and Group Manager resolving complex tax liabilities, Nicole transitioned to private practice as an Enrolled Agent to advocate directly for clients. Experiencing the daily administrative bottleneck firsthand inspired her to found and lead Tonic Data Labs as CEO, building practical software that gives professionals real operating leverage. Today, she blends inside regulatory expertise, entrepreneurial grit, and a traveler’s curiosity to help people solve tough problems and see what is possible.

A letter from Nicole

I built Tonic Data Labs to change that.

I am Nicole Christopher, EA, Co-founder and CEO of Tonic Data Labs.

As a licensed Enrolled Agent, I built our AI suite directly out of practitioner necessity. I know the friction of manually decoding IRS transcripts, fighting for penalty relief under the IRM, and turning away high-value controversy work simply due to lack of hours.

We build specialized AI tools to eliminate operational bottlenecks, protect client privacy, and help firms expand case capacity without adding overhead.

Our flagship system, Jenna, decodes raw IRS transcripts line by line, flags possible First-Time Abatements, and lets you resolve complex controversy matters without stretching your practice to the breaking point.
